During a holiday season saturated with gift marketing, we needed to find a way to stand out and convince people to give the gift of Drizly.
So naturally, we started looking for a strong consumer insight to rally our holiday campaign around.
Turns out, a staggering 70% of holiday gifts were returned in 2019. We poured over every listicle of the most returned items we could find, and not one of them listed booze as a line item.
We ran with it. We partnered up with @DudeWithSign and Jaja Tequila for some firepower, and to make people rethink their holiday shopping strategy during a pivotal Q4 for Drizly.
