Prom King

Client: Burger King
OOH social activation

It began with a simple idea (and a ladder).

Every spring, viral promposals take social by storm. So we decided to ask “the girl next door” in Lynn, MA (a Wendy’s) to prom in a similar way that our teenage audience asked each other: on a marquee.

To make sure we got a response to our question, we posed the question to Wendy’s infamous Twitter account by using their handle on the marquee and posting this pic on the left to our feed.

Needless to say, the internet (and the media) lost their minds following the wholesome, relatable chain of events that unfolded.

[Ed note: of all the work I’ve done, this is what I’m most proud of. From having the idea and executing it in 24 hours, watching the country’s reaction, and receiving my first Cannes Lion... I’ll never forget.]
